We are so excited to show you all some of the absolutely gorgeous newborn photography props that we’ll have in store this month!  Our next store opening is Sunday 12th April at 9pm Sydney time, so make sure you put it in your diaries!

There has been a lot happening lately, and as usual it’s been very busy behind the scenes!  This month the store is going to be packed full of new goodies.  Tiebacks, headbands, wraps, layers, wool fillers, the list goes on!  We love creating, designing and sourcing new props for all of our fans and this month is no exception!

See you at The Baby Summit!

Oh. My. Goodness.  We are feeling VERY excited here at Princess & the Pea as it’s not long now until we travel to the Gold Coast, Australia, to participate in a VERY exciting event!

For those of you not familiar with it yet, The Baby Summit is a three-day event organised by the very talented Kelly Brown from Little Pieces Photography by Kelly Brown and promises to be a not-to-be-missed event!  The Summit is focused around Maternity, Newborn, Birth & Baby Photography and there will be a whole bunch of very talented photographers and speakers in attendance from 1st – 3rd August in Tweed Heads, QLD Australia   Sue Bryce, Erin Elizabeth, Luisa Dunn, Rachel Vanoven & Kristen Cook are just a few photographers that will be there in August!

What is even MORE exciting is that we are going to have a stall in the Tradeshow there!  So after you attend your fabulous workshops and talks, make sure you visit our stand as we will have so many goodies for you to see!

Divine New Knitted Props!

One of the more recent newborn photography props added to our store are our gorgeous (and very popular!) range of knitted goodies!

As time is precious around here (running your own photography business and prop business at once can be very interesting to say the least!), after I’d finish making my new props for the next store update (and looking after the photography side of things and my lovely family too!) I would hardly have any time left for other things.

Then along came Nanna Pea (a.k.a. my Mum!) to the rescue!  Not only is Nanna Pea a terrific grandmother, mother and general all-round wonderful person, but she’s a great knitter too!  So thanks to her we have been able to bring you a gorgeous stash of beautiful knitted items every month.

The best part is, for every knitted item sold, we will be donating 50% of the proceeds to a needy charity for every time the store opens.  How great is that?  So not only will you be purchasing a gorgeous handmade item, but you’ll be helping out a charity in need!

So far we’ve brought you knitted teddies, sleepy Easter bunnies and gorgeous knitted pants & bonnets, and there will be plenty more lovely items coming up in the very near future!  So stay tuned lovelies
